Piano Lessons

Piano Teacher: 

Jennifer Yakubek is a classically-trained pianist with over 13 years of intensive study under internationally renowned instructors, including Van Cliburn Finalist and former Juilliard faculty Alex McDonald, International Chopin Competition Medalist Yifan Liu, and alumni of Moscow and St. Petersburg

Conservatories, such as Baya Kakouberi. She took piano performance courses at NYU as an undergraduate student and won first place with Rachmaninoff’s Moments Musicaux

No. 4 at a talent competition at the University of Cambridge. With training in the Russian School of piano technique and the American Taubman method, Jennifer focuses on steady progress, expressive playing, and good form. She also uses her background in biomolecular science and experience teaching anatomy to encourage effective, healthy technique. Her teaching experience ranges from young piano

beginners in New York public schools to college-level students. Jennifer is currently a piano teacher

at Pui Ying Art School. She teaches one-on-one lessons to students on weekends and Monday to

Friday evenings. Children and teenagers 4 and a half and above are welcome to register.
